Existing roof removed and replaced
This Seattle project involved removing the home’s existing roof and installing a new composition-shingle roof. Roofing Specialists Northwest completed the work in five days.
The photographs document the project at several stages. During the work, the wood roof deck was exposed, followed by dark underlayment across the roof slope. The completed views show brown composition shingles across the roof planes, with ridges, a penetration and adjoining roof sections visible.
A closer photograph records the finished shingles where several slopes meet at a roof junction. Together, the images show the progression from the exposed deck and underlayment to the completed roof.
The result was a completed five-day replacement: removal of the existing roof followed by installation of the new composition-shingle roof.
